Under Floor Lifting

When time is critical, having vehicles out of the network for repair is a problem for rail systems, but under floor lifting systems can significantly cut the time taken to maintain, repair or replace components on the underside of a rail carriage.

These systems, specified and supplied to individual need by Unique Rail, can raise/lower complete trains or single vehicles. And to ensure the workshop floor remains safe and clear the Underfloor Lifting System is designed to store all equipment below ground.

It is available in both cantilever lifting, for workshops with space constraints, or column lift which allows bogies or components to be replaced directly behind the raised rail vehicle. In both cases, the body supports/stands can also be designed to client specification.
